FAQ'S

What types of metals are used in the materials of the Linx and More jewelry?

--All of the pendants are available in Stainless Steel, with the additional option of buying any of the Heart or Soul pendants in Sterling Silver. All of the bracelets, dangles and charms (unless otherwise noted) are stainless steel. ALL of our pendants, bracelets, necklaces and charms are Rhodium Plated to prevent tarnishing. All of the gold jewelry is 14k Gold plated.

Are those Rhinestones in the locket pendants and charms?

NO...those goregous pendants are encrusted with Cubic Zirconias, also known as CZ, as well as some of our charm choices. We also sell a clear or pink CZ necklace.

What if one of the CZ's fall out?

This is considered a manufacture defect and falls under our replacement policy. Contact us and we will plan on the return of the defected charm or pendant and replace it accordingly.

How do the locket pendants stay closed and/or how do you open them?

There are 3 points of closure on a pendant. This makes them very secure. If dropped or pried open wrong, you can loosen this closure. We do not use magnetic closures like some "copycat" companies. If you cannot open the locket using your fingernails, you can use a very small, eyeglass repair type flathead screwdriver to leverage the pendant open. ONLY hold your locket by the metal, avoiding applying pressure to the glass. If not opened gingerly, you may scratch your locket. Put the mini screwdriver at the main point of closure and gently twist it to pop open the locket. You can always contact us to help you through this or we can arrange for us to change your charms out for you.

Can I put the pendant on my dog's collar? How about using the keychain adaptor with keys?

We do not recommend this as the pendant is glass. Same idea behind the keychain option. Remember, the pendants are glass, so the key chain adaptor if used with keys, basically puts your locket at risk of breaking. I personally recommend only using the keychain adaptor for clipping the locket to something for decoration, such as the outside of your purse.

Which way do the crystal birthstones go into the lockets?

Place the crystal birthstones into the locket with the pointed side to the back. The flat side of the charm should be facing the front view of your locket.

Can you place "other" charms into the locket?

We do not recommend using any other charms for the inside of your locket other than those from Linx and More. Charming Lockets is an independant rep selling only those charms recommended for these lockets.

How do you clean your locket?

Do not submerge, swim with or get your locket wet. If you need to clean the glass, I suggest using a lightly moistened q-tip. The pendants (lockets) are not water resistant. If you get lotions or perfumes on the pendant, gently clean the exterior with a jewelry cloth or soft towel.
